Recap: Outpost Half Days – NYC

Last Friday we brought Half Days to New York and gave everyone a much-needed break from the cold. Laptops closed, coats hung up, drinks poured. A great afternoon all around.

We took over The Spaniard, a West Village staple that felt like the perfect escape. Warm, cozy, lively, and just rowdy enough. A vinyl set spun all afternoon, setting the tone as the room filled up with friends from across the marketing, creative, and events worlds. From there it was exactly what Half Days is supposed to be: easy conversations, a lot of laughter, and zero pressure.

Outpost opened the bar, sandwiches showed up. Lots of sandwiches. Arguably an uncomfortable amount of sandwiches. The space settled into a steady hum. People came for an hour and stayed for three. New connections were made, old ones were picked back up, and no one was in a rush to leave.

By the time the afternoon wound down, it felt clear this one hit. New York showed up, The Spaniard delivered, and Half Days proved once again that sometimes the best plan is no plan at all.
