OUTPOST HALF DAYS
—
NEW YORK
January 30, 2026
We brought Half Days to New York recently and did what we do best: pressed pause.

We design moments that create space for real connection, and this one was intentionally simple. Laptops closed. Coats hung up. Drinks poured. Spirits lifted. We took over The Spaniard, a West Village staple that hit the brief exactly. Warm, cozy, lively, and just rowdy enough. A vinyl set spun all afternoon as friends from the marketing, creative, and events worlds filtered in. From there, it became what Half Days is supposed to be: good conversations, a lot of laughter, and absolutely zero pressure to do anything other than be there.
We opened the bar. Sandwiches showed up. Lots of sandwiches. An arguably irresponsible amount of sandwiches. The room found its rhythm. People came for an hour and stayed for three. New connections formed, old ones picked right back up, and nobody checked the time. When internal teams or external partners are given the right environment, engagement happens organically. The role of production is not to over-direct, but to create the conditions for culture to emerge.
By the end of the afternoon, it was obvious this one hit. New York showed up, The Spaniard delivered, and Half Days proved (again) that sometimes the best plan is no plan at all. For brands looking to elevate employee morale, strengthen sales relationships, or deepen ties with current clientele, moments like these are a reminder that thoughtful experiential design does not need to be complicated to be effective.
