Tell Me Something I Don’t Know: A Conversation About Design with Kate Bingman-Burt

This June, Outpost took a trip from the SF bay area to Seattle, on a mission to connect with individuals whose work is creating a more inspired future for us all. Thanks to our friends from Moterra Campervans, we had a comfortable ride and accommodations, and the perfect place to capture conversations along the way.

Welcome to Tell Me Something I Don’t Know, the podcast where a couple of average guys get schooled by experts in their respective fields. From gear designers to scientists, entrepreneurs to philanthropists – the one thing guests have in common is their pushing our world forward in interesting directions.

Our first guest is Kate Bingman-Burt, artist, professor of design at Portland State, and owner of a rad little print shop called Outlet. We had a chance to chat with Kate about past design projects that got her out of trouble, her approach toward teaching, and how events and community spaces have always been pivotal to her process.

We hope you enjoy the conversation!
